Reflections Along the Way

From the Desk of Steve Macchia

Dear Friend,
One of my spiritual mentors recently said very matter-of-factly, “All of life is about trust.” This statement has taken root in my heart. The significance of this short, pithy sentence packs a powerful punch for the soul of leaders and teams. In fact, it’s significant for all Christ followers. Consider it for yourself.  What enables you to trust God, his Word, and his voice? How about trusting others, their words, and their actions? And yourself, are you trustworthy, a person of your word and filled with integrity?  If it’s true that all of life is about trust, then we need to pay attention to the relational and spiritual environs we occupy daily. Posture yourself during this Lenten season to trust God, despite your needs or in spite of God’s response. Without trust, there is no life here on earth or for all eternity. Simply trust. Simply. Trust.
